YOU’LL WALK AWAY WITH
Increased capacity to stay composed and effective under pressure — improved self-awareness and self-regulation, leading to better decisions and fewer reactive behaviors.
Immediate behavior change you can see — you will practice in real time and leave already using new tools and approaches.
Solutions that fit you and your people, not generic models — insights and systems which are customized to your culture and environment, driving higher adoption and lasting impact.
Stronger, more sustainable performance over time — you will learn to operate with greater resilience, alignment, and clarity, reducing burnout and elevating results.
WHAT MAKES THIS EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT
You will experience everything in real time. This event is built around the actual people in the room and what’s happening in your life. In short, YOU. Every moment will be customized through deep listening and skilled facilitation — no formulas, no generic frameworks, no cookie-cutter solutions.
You will address the missing link. Most professional development overlooks the inner work of self-awareness and self-regulation — the essential foundation of every external skill. While in Phoenix you will integrate the inner and outer dimensions of leadership.
You will focus on practice, not theory. You will go beyond hearing concepts and will practice in the room to create lasting results. This time is designed to be hands-on and participatory. You’ll leave ready to implement your learnings in your everyday environment.
Your insights will become actionable and sustainable. You’ll uncover specific, meaningful awarenesses — and have the opportunity to turn those insights into repeatable, results-driven systems you can use long after our time together ends.
You will expand your definition of success. Your professional success is about far more than a title or job description — it’s about how you show up, lead, and grow.

MEET OUR TEAM
The Leadership Lab is co-founded by three partners with over 30 years of combined coaching and leadership experience across corporate, nonprofit, and creative sectors. Our unique yet complementary paths led us to a shared belief that courageous communication sits at the heart of effective leadership and meaningful partnership. We are deeply committed to both inner work and outer impact — helping leaders build self-awareness, clarity, and emotional intelligence while translating those insights into real-world action. Grounded in trust, honesty, and compassion, we are willing to hold up mirrors to one another’s blind spots in service of growth. We bring rigor, humanity, and a healthy dose of fun and laughter to everything we do — creating spaces where leaders feel challenged, supported, and energized to lead with purpose.

Charles Sommer is a leadership and executive coach. Charles’ coaching is rooted in years of professional experience working with people from all corners of our cultural landscape. A key tenant to his work is in slowing down and connecting with our own power to create success for ourselves and those around us. Charles has brought this work to individual and leadership teams in organizations of all kinds: law, medicine, finance, arts, non-profit, tech, academia, and more. As a coach, he brings his unique awareness of human transformation, aspiration, fear, trauma, grief, and desire for joy.
In his previous career, he held senior leadership roles with human-service agencies working to improve the lives of vulnerable populations. Charles spent decades leading and creating programs to address homelessness, food insecurity, addiction, and more. In this realm, Charles became passionate about the power, potential, and impact for executive leaders to create a culture that is simultaneously holistic and results-driven.
“Charles provides practical advice to navigate the complex barriers – both internally and externally – that we all encounter as people and organizational leaders.”
“Working with Charles, I've shown up for my team as a resilient and inspiring leader.”
Elizabeth Rowe spent 20 years performing on the world’s most elite classical music stages, developing an intimate understanding of mastery, presence, expression, and resilience. Today, that experience shapes her work with leaders who are navigating their own high-stakes environments. Working at the intersection of career and personal development, she partners with high achievers across industries as they strive to define — and create — success on their own terms.
Elizabeth’s approach to coaching is anchored in her lived experience. She has held complexity, visibility, and responsibility at the highest levels. She’s also stumbled, faltered and risen more times than she can count — as has every high achiever, whether they like to admit it or not. Elizabeth understands that external success often doesn’t tell the full story, and that many accomplished people yearn for something more. This is where she comes in. Elizabeth’s depth of experience allows her to support clients in a way that is both grounded and expansive: practical tools to elevate real-world leadership, and honest, courageous conversations that invite meaningful inner growth.
“ Coaching with Elizabeth allowed me to hone skills that the world doesn’t seem to teach elsewhere.”
”Our work led to substantive improvements in how I experience and embody my leadership role.”
